Dr. David Eric Dalton graduated
with a first class honours degree in Applied Physics from the
University of Limerick in 1999. Taking a postgraduate position in the
Department of Physics, he investigated mass diffusion phenomena of
electromigration via ultra-low resistometric measurements. While
completing his PhD, David took a post at the Stoke Research Institute
in 2003, in the area of instrumental control of polymerase chain
reaction (PCR) used in DNA amplification. David continues at Stokes
where he is currently researching reliability issues in both power
supplies and traces. His expertise lies in the areas of thin film
physics, instrumentation control, optical techniques and statistical
signal analysis.
