We'll take you directly into the new millenium with this very
deceiving 1930s Seattle Craftsman home. The outside it looks like the rest
of Seattle's beautiful Craftsman homes, but on the inside is where you
will be pleasantly surprised. Not only did Beth Lahickey and her boyfriend
Michael Nauman want to restore their old home, but they wanted to take it
up a notch. They accomplished this by putting the coolest 21st Century
technology into their home, while retaining its old features and
attributes . For example, when they replaced non-original linoleum
flooring with authentic-appearing ceramic, they added heated floors--a
feature that's invisible but very modern. Also , they have wired the
entire house for digital communication.
We'll show you all kinds of cool amenities and how they accomplished it
while keeping the craftsmanship alive.
